John Chakmakas

Tom certainly was one of a kind as described in his obituary.  I visited with Tom about once a month in the nice weather and every few months in the cold weather.  He was always upbeat and did not complain about his health.  Quite the opposite in that he felt very fortunate that he was able to enjoy life with his limited capabilities.  Tom always had a sense of humor and was a great storyteller.  We would reminisce about thre "good old days" and share laughs. He had friends all over the world.  He will be missed but I feel blessed that we were friends for over 60 years.  Rest in peace Tom.

Even though I did bot interact with Lee after high school, I remember him as a nice easy going guy.
